Happy Birthday, Andrew

Andrew is going to be 2 years old. His gifts will be put in the mail soon.
Andrew's mother requested a towel for him. I found this hooded towel and I loved the turtles. I added his name in the same green as the turtles.

Andrew needed a birthday shirt so I appliqued the 2 and added the party hat. I put his name on last.

This is the close up of the applique.
Happy Birthday, Andrew! I hope you have a great birthday.

Towels

My niece wanted hand towels for her children's bathroom that is decorated with frogs. I thought it would be fun to use Lily and Lionel appliques.
Andrew's towel is Lionel frog with a blue bow tie.
Caroline's towel is Lily frog with a pink center and pink cheeks.
I hope the children enjoy the new towels for their bathroom.
This towel was made for a little girl's birthday. She is going to make a couple of beach trips this summer and needed her own towel.
My friend added flipflops and sunglasses to Reese's gift. It turned out to be a great present for her!

Easter Outfits for Stuart

We made a trip to see Stuart this past week and I took him his outfit for Easter.

I made a bubble suit with a smocked insert. I took matching fabric and appliqued a cross on the burp cloth.

This is the smocked insert before I assembled the outfit.

It has been a very long time since I have smocked for a baby boy. I had to make all the piping because I couldn't find what I needed. I know he will be a handsome baby boy.

I really liked this design but had no idea it would take over an hour to complete. It is cute though.

Stuart needed a fun outfit, so I appliqued a bunny on a onesie. I put his name on the bunny.

I put his name on the blue sweater to go over the onesie. He needed this for those cool mornings.

Add a pair of pants to match and you have a cute outfit! I just had to make a matching burp cloth.
It was fun doing something for a little one for Easter.
