Scarves

Just having a little fun with scarves! The purple and orange scarf is for a Clemson fan.

I ordered some larger chevron by accident and decided to make Christmas scarves. I think they will be fun to wear during the holidays.

Fun Monogrammed Sweatshirts

I have been seeing a lot of these sweatshirts for the past couple of  weeks, so
I decided to try  a couple. They are fun to make and are really cute.

This shirt is made with a different font from the one above. It's all in personal preference.
Tomorrow is suppose to be cool so I am hoping I get to wear mine!

Christmas Gifts

These utility aprons make a wonderful gift for teachers.
Someone already has five gifts for Christmas.

These are linen tea towels personalized with an initial. It takes a
while to stitch out, but they are so pretty. Perfect hostess or Christmas gift.
Have you thought about what you are going to give this Christmas? Can you believe it's already time to start thinking about gifts?

Burp Cloths

I had someone requests three burp cloths and she told me the designs
that she wanted. I liked this little owl and so did she.

Big brother plays football so the mom knew
she wanted a helmet in the team colors.

Bryant's mom is a native of Louisiana so the gator was her third choice.
I think he is fixed up with new burps. Thanks, Rebecca and I appreciate
you sharing with your Dallas friends.

Have a great weekend!

Planning for the Christmas Season

I started working on shirts for the upcoming holidays this weekend. This is a pretty one that I did for my niece. She love anything that will sparkle or shine.

This is a fun shirt for boys. I will be working on a girl reindeer this week.
Be sure and get your order in so I can have your shirts ready to go before Thanksgiving.

Favorite Time of Year

I just love fall! It has my favorite colors and the weather begins to cool down. We also anticipate the upcoming holidays with family and friends. I hope these shirts bring smiles to little faces this fall.

Polka dot ribbon makes anything cute!

Stuart will be ready for a fun day in preschool.
Take time to enjoy this time of year!

Fall brings many things in our area and one of them is the rodeo. This little girl will be ready with her bandanna applique.

Stuart will be wearing this cute shirt with a truck and pumpkin.

We are hoping for cooler weather and RAIN!
Happy Fall!

Keeping Busy

I seem to stay busy these days and for that I am grateful. Today I embroidered a shoe bag for a friend to give to her mom and last night I made a pillow case dress.

This bag could be used for lingerie as well as shoes. Talk about opposites!

A friend had given me some fabric so I used it to make this little dress. How cute it would be with leggings and a tee shirt underneath.

Ready for Fall

We are ready for cooler weather! It will be a while before that happens, but football is in the air with people wanting to show their team spirit.

Kylie is going to show her support for LSU with her football shirt. These can be made to go with any team colors.

Kylie is ready for October and November with her pumpkin shirt.

A New Adventure

Well, I have decided to take my hobby and turn it into a small business. I am now taking orders for things that I make. The inventory and choices will be small at first and hopefully will grow. I look forward in helping with your embroidery needs or wants.

First Birthday

Roger is turning one and his birthday party is a pirate theme with him being "Jolly Roger." Roger is the sweetest boy and usually has a smile on that precious face. If you haven't figured it out, Roger is my grandson.

Roger's mom wanted us to use this little pirate dog. He is a friendly looking fellow. I added one to the bib and left the shirt plain.

We couldn't leave big brother, Stuart out of the celebration. I used a different color scheme with his pirate dog.

I apologize for there being two watermarks on my pictures. This is my first set to do and I didn't notice until they were already uploaded.

Ana Elizabeth

Ana arrived a week ago and I wanted to do something special to welcome her. Her mommy chose not to find out if she was having a boy or girl so I had to wait to make the gift. I had fun doing a couple of burps and bibs.

This is an old design, but it really turned out nicely with the polka dot and chevron.
I just used a pink and white dot that I had to applique her name on the burp cloth. It's bright and cheery.
I love white on white especially with a pretty monogram.
This is a little bib I picked up and just added the name to make it special.  Hope Ana's mom is pleased with the gifts for her new baby girl.

Happy Birthday, Stuart!

Our oldest grandson loves Curious George. That was the theme of his birthday party this year, so I went on a search for a Curious George applique. This is what I came up with for our birthday boy. I also ordered the fabric for the two applique. I wanted everything to be "George" for him.
Stuart is now in a toddler bed so I made him a special pillowcase. Isn't George just a happy little fellow?
Of course, I couldn't leave little brother out so I made him a Curious George onesie.
I guess I need to start working on Easter for my little guys next. It comes early this year, but I'm ready for spring. Have a wonderful Sunday!
