Towels

May and June are typically the months we buy more graduation and wedding gifts. Below you will see a set of towels for a couple getting married soon and the other two towels were graduation gifts. I liked how they turned out. Hope the recipients like them!

I just tied tulle around the towels and added a card.

I couldn't decide if I wanted to add a name to this pretty towel.

I did add a name and it turned out very pretty and femine.

I really liked the colors in this towel.

I plan on working on some patriotic shirts this week. I will share those when they are finished.

Little Bird on Burp

I wanted to do something a little different on a burp cloth. I needed two gifts so I decided on the appliqued bird design. The fabric is a little different on each one. Excuse the poor lighting.

National Bike Month

It is National Bike Month. All of my family loves to ride bikes. My husband tries to ride twice a week and goes about 18 to 20 miles. My two daughters and son-in-law like to ride also. I like to ride, but I am not nearly as dedicated as the rest of my family. Well, I wanted to make Stuart another onesie and I decided on a bike. It turned out cute and you can see below how cute he looks in it. Oh no, I am one of those grandmothers that I said I would NEVER be.
