Etc.

Here are two more projects that I completed today. Both of these will be used for gifts. Hope the recipients like them.

I am enjoying the cooler days and I hope you are too!

Mr. Scarecrow

I saw a scarecrow at the grocery store and thought I can make one!
I took a piece of cardboard that I had and measured out a piece of burlap.
I covered the cardboard with the burlap.
I drew his mouth and added his nose and eyes. The one at the store had button eyes but I used felt.
I added raffia to give him the straw look. This part was the hardest and I used a lot of hot glue.
I added a piece of fabric for his hat and more "straw". I think he is a happy little fellow. I gave him to my grandsons this weekend and of course, Stuart liked him.
I hope you are enjoying the fall as much as I am. The weather has been cool and perfect!
