I am in a bible study right now and each week we are given an assignment to do with a type of ministry. Last week I chose to take a meal to someone who hasn't been feeling well. It always seems to come down to food with me. I wanted to share with you some of the things I cooked.

I made a shrimp casserole using shrimp and yellow rice. This is so easy, but so delicious.
I have been cooking asparagus at least once a week lately. I wrap it in bacon and bake/broil it.
Of course, you need a good green salad to go along with your meal.
What better dessert is there than Pioneer Woman's chocolate cake? It is easy, but yet scrumptious as she would say. I had enough to share with three families. That is always good.
I always try and take things in disposable containers. Who wants to worry with returning dishes? I have a huge plastic tub in my garage that I keep plastic containers in. When I take a meal, I just go out and look through my stash. This way they don't clutter my cabinet. Put it all in a basket and you are ready for delivery. Bless someone today who needs it. You will be so glad you did.

Can you believe it is March 4? Spring is almost here and I love spring! Enjoy these pretty days.
